How to solve extraction problems in rotary molding process
Rotary molding is the process by which engraved rollers are used to shape biscuits from dough. The rotary molder belt (also called the extraction web) extracts the raw biscuits from this shaping roller, supported by the forces of the pressure roller driving the belt. The belt then conveys the shaped pieces to the next application process using a tight transfer to ensure biscuit shape integrity. Stefano Tondini, Manager of the Industry Segment for Bakery and Confectionary, explores the crucial factors in biscuit processing applications.
